Mother Hydra

Taking in the printer
pricey breaths at
lake do flake us.

Shaking in the winter
icy depths that
ache to break us.

Reaction deep
and all black sheep
ignore the trip to nothing.

Subtract a beat
and fall asleep
before we slip to pumping.

Talking into madness
died divide
is meant to be.

Walking into blackness
side by side
we went to sea.

And scared beseech the slaves
we bring her Christians
in our test.

And there beneath the waves
we linger glisten
in our deaths.
