Star Trek: Prodigy (October 28, 2021 – July 1, 2024)
“Star Trek: Prodigy” is an American animated science fiction television series created by Kevin and Dan Hageman. The series picks up plot threads from previous Treks mainly serving as a sequel to Star Trek: Voyager and a prequel to stories yet to come. The series follows a group of young aliens in the 24th century who find the abandoned starship Protostar and learn about Starfleet.
While the series was released in 2 seasons of 20 episodes, it was designed to be released as 4 seasons of 10, so every 10 episodes there’s something like a season finale.
There are only 10 Prodigy Logs in this series, woven into the latter half of Season 1.
Lower Decks, the previous series, took place between 2380 & 2382. Prodigy continues the story in 2383 and carries it on through early 2385.

The brilliant series finale wraps up Star Trek: Prodigy beautifully, and also manages to tie in to Short Treks 09 S02E06 “Children of Mars”, which also takes place in 2385. Nicely done!
